Ross Altman, known as the songwriter/songfighter in Los Angeles, has a PhD in Modern Literature from SUNY-Binghamton (1973) and belongs to Local 47 (AFM). He is the president of the Santa Monica Traditional Folk Music Club and has written for FolkWorks since May, 2003.
