FolkWorks welcomes Jeanette Lundgren to our Board of Directors
FolkWorks is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeanette Lundgren to the FolkWorks Board of Directors.
Jeanette served on the FAR-West Board in various roles including Vice President and Secretary from 2010 until 2021. During that time, she helped to coordinate six conferences. She is a member of Folk Alliance International, host of Two Blue Roses Online, and a supporter of indie musicians and music related businesses of all genres.
Jeanette has years of experience in social media; her hands-on work is already bringing FolkWorks new twitter followers, something that has been missing in our skill set. We also look forward to Jeanette’s views and experiences in discussions about FolkWorks future ventures, concerts, and how to increase our visibility.
Born and raised in various New York City suburbs, Jeanette Lundgren spent over 20 years at a major publishing house licensing domestic and foreign print, audio, and film/tv rights. She moved to Los Angeles in 2000 where she found some brilliant musicians who needed online promotional support.
Mother Hen Promotions was born in 2006 when trying to organize a CD exchange and Tracy Newman dubbed her “Mother Hen.”
In April 2012, Jeanette moved to Eugene, Oregon in order to be “Mom Hen” full time.
