• The Lughnasadh/Lúnasa festival, the ancient Celtic celebration of the first harvest, falls on Wednesday, July 31st at sundown, the traditional start of the new day and continues through Thursday, August 1st, until sundown. The Welsh also celebrated this date and called it Gwyl Awst while the Anglo-Saxons and called it Lammas. (See Details)
