FolkWorks 25th Anniversary Benefit Concert
October 11 @ 8:00 PM - 10:30 PM PDT

FolkWorks is presenting a special concert to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
In January 2001, we had this crazy idea that – since the music and dance we loved was illegal – we would bring on the Folk revolution. Thus was FolkWorks created. With crew of volunteers, we distributed 15,000 newspapers bi-monthly throughout Southern California. We recruited writers, sold ads and grew an organization. FolkWorks presented concerts and festivals. In 2007, we moved from a hard copy to an online website.
Your encouragement and support made this all possible…
Join us at McCabe’s Guitar Shop on October 11th at 8:00pm as we celebrate with special guests and co-conspirators in a concert presenting different faces of “folk” music.
