Jackie Fickel

Jackie Fickel first came to know FolkWorks as a key resource for information, after moving to Los Angeles from Texas in 2005. She has enjoyed becoming involved through helping with the Folk-Roots Festivals, and is honored to have begun serving the Board as Secretary in September 2018. Jackie has engaged with many styles of music and dance over time, most recently through playing fiddle in Irish Traditional sessions. She is happy to help support FolkWorks’ role in fostering connections between people and music and dance.
