Patty Booker, a veteran Orange County singer/songwriter, has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia.  A group of her talented musical friends got together and recorded a 17-track tribute/benefit CD of some of Patty’s songs.  Artists include Rosie Flores, Jann Browne, Rick Shea, James Intveld and many other Southern California musicians.  The CD was produced by Lisa Finnie and John McDuffie and was released on Tres Pescadores Records (trespescadores.com), who are donating the proceeds from the sale of the first 1,000 CDs directly to Patty.  On March 10, at 8PM at McCabe’s Guitar Shop in Santa Monica, a CD release and benefit show is being held featuring many of the musicians who donated their time and talents to the creation of the CD.  All of the artists who appear at McCabe’s are also directing their portion of the ticket sales directly to Patty to help her in her time of need.
