• On Friday, July 10th, at 7:30 PM, Aberdeenshire folksinger, Iona Fyfe, begins here 3rd tour of the US West coast at House of Scotland, in San Diego, CA. This will be followed by more than a dozen shows and workshops all along the West Coast during July. (See Details)
• On Saturday, July 11th, from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, the still completely FREE, 50th annual San Francisco Free Folk Festival, happens at the Music Concourse, in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA. • On Sunday, July 12th at 1:00 PM Pacific, Delaney McCormack will present, online via Zoom, the sixth episode of her 6 part lecture on Melmoth the Wanderer by Charles Maturin. From Friday, July 17th, 4:00 PM through Sunday, July 19th, 2:00 PM, a loosely organized band of fretted dulcimer players and friends of the dulcimer will convene as they have done for the past 51 years, this time in person. • The Philo-Celtic Society offers four full quarters of multiple free classes focused on learning the Irish Language, and some quarters include classes in Irish Song.
