Nashville singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cristina Vane has earned praise from the likes of American Songwriter and Rolling Stone Country. Influenced by Robert Johnson, Blind Willie Johnson and Alanis Morissette and powered by her signature take on blues and rock, she’s recently taken a deep dive into old-time and bluegrass music, adding clawhammer banjo to her arsenal of instruments.

On her debut album Nowhere Sounds Lovely (2021), she worked with Grammy-award-winning drummer and producer Cactus Moser (known for his work with Wynonna Judd). Her latest album, Make Myself Me Again, documents her quest to find strength and independence in a new town. The album’s title track rings of tenacious resilience, showcasing Cristina’s beautiful yet understated fingerstyle and slide guitar playing.

Born in Italy to a Sicilian-American father and a Guatemalan mother and raised between England, France and Italy, Vane uses music to express her relationship with identity, place and belonging.
